چکیده
Surface reconstruction in NiMoO 4 –CoO nanosheet catalyst through Mo dissolution with subsequent formation of K 2 3 O 10 is disclosed, which brings more active sites and enhanced charge transfer, boosts intrinsic HER activity per catalysis site.

Hydrogen evolution activity of NiMo-MoO2 produced by mechanical milling
In this study, mechanical alloying was done by a high-energy planetary ball milling technique. A mixture of NiO and MoO3 and graphite powders were used as initial materials. After milling of powder mixture with 40 wt.% additional graphite, a temperature of 400, 550 and 1000 °C for 1 h was considered for the heat treatment of powder mixture. Also, powder mixtures containing 60, 80 and 100 wt.% a...
متن کاملIn situ activation of a Ni catalyst with Mo ion for hydrogen evolution reaction in alkaline solution
In this study Ni catalyst have been activated during hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) by adding Mo ions into the alkaline electrolyte. After dissolving different amounts of ammonium molybdate in the 1M NaOH as electrolyte, Ni catalyst was used as cathode for HER. Afterwards a comparison between hydrogen overpotential measured in Ni catalyst with and without in situ activation has been made; th...
متن کاملEfficient Reconstruction of Phylogenetic Networks with Constrained Recombination
A phylogenetic network is a generalization of a phylogenetic tree, allowing structural properties that are not tree-like. With the growth of genomic data, much of which does not fit ideal tree models, there is greater need to understand the algorithmics and combinatorics of phylogenetic networks [10, 11]. However, to date, very little has been published on this, with the notable exception of th...
متن کاملOptimal, Efficient Reconstruction of Phylogenetic Networks with Constrained Recombination
A phylogenetic network is a generalization of a phylogenetic tree, allowing structural properties that are not tree-like. In a seminal paper, Wang et al.(1) studied the problem of constructing a phylogenetic network, allowing recombination between sequences, with the constraint that the resulting cycles must be disjoint. We call such a phylogenetic network a "galled-tree". They gave a polynomia...
متن کاملEPR detection and characterisation of a paramagnetic Mo(iii) dihydride intermediate involved in electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution.
EPR spectroscopy and theoretical data show that the slow heterogeneous electron-transfer kinetics associated with the reduction of an 18-electron Mo(IV) acetato dihydride are a consequence of an η(2)-η(1) rearrangement of the carboxylate ligand which gives a unique paramagnetic 17-electron Mo(III) dihydride.
